Darryl Hoxie is a Louisiana-based construction and disaster recovery professional with experience in restoration, mitigation, and repair project management. Since 2017, Darryl Hoxie has worked with Legacy Industries in Westwego as a disaster relief project manager. His work involves residential and industrial properties affected by disaster events.
At Legacy Industries, Mr. Hoxie helps organize field crews, coordinate training, communicate with property owners, and manage materials for active projects. He has served as program manager for the Restore Louisiana program, overseeing work tied to more than 700 homes. He has also managed the Transform 386 program in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Hoxie owned Oracle Construction from 1997 to 2017. His projects included custom homes in Jackson, Wyoming, municipal sewer plants and water depots in North Dakota, two hotels, and several RV parks. He also managed an 84-person crew on a school construction project in Baton Rouge.
Mr. Hoxie is a licensed general contractor with experience in inspections, cost management, renovation, and restoration. His background also includes environmental cleanup work in California, Tennessee, and Florida. Outside of his professional work, he has been active in horse rescue, dog training, and Clydesdale competition.
